So...

...yeah. I don't actually know why I even started this blog in the first place. I don't have much to say really. I'm no activist although I am enlisted in the cause of Christ. I don't really have much to say or at least nothing that will interest any readers.

I have lot of questions and want to do such a lot of stuff. I can write about that but somehow it will make me egocentric which is not how I want to be.

I can post photos but I take so long to process them and the upload costs puts me off.

This blog can function as a diary, but having an online diary makes me uneasy. T

There are so many blogs on the web that I don't think anyone would want to hear me, who has nothing to say, say anything.

Maybe I'm just lazy. :-)

So yeah, this is where I am at right now.

I found out about an hour ago that my laptop is caput. A capacitor on the mother board, or somewhere in the innerworkings of the silicon entity, has blown. My sister is  going to pick it up at the PC repair place this afternoon.

I can write about my life which is cool. The thing that puts me off though is that there is such a lot going on right now - nothing adventurous, just the joys and heartaches of life - that just thinking about writing about them makes me squeam. So maybe I'm just lazy. LOL!

Yesterday, I bought a ticket at the train station. The people queuing at the ticket booths heard me say where I'd like to go. So I got my ticket, got to the platform, sat down and read my Bible in preparation for the Bible study group meeting last night. A man came up to me and said he heard me say where I was going to. He asked my name and place of residence which I shared with him. Then, he asked me to look after his daughter. I gave him the "why are you asking me?" and "why do you trust me?" looks. He said that I was reading the Bible.

So the girl sat next to me. The space between us was large enough for a person to sit. I conversed with her on and off and read my Bible until the train came. We boarded and stayed together until we reached campus. I haven't seen her since.

This was a VERY strange experience. When he asked me, my mind immediately went to the section in Fred Stoeker's book, Every Young Man's Battle, where he talks about men honouring the fathers of the women they love by not taking advantage of them.

All in all, yesterday was a great day.
